Hello, and welcome to my blog.

I’m a 20 year-old Creative Writing student in my first year of university, and I live in the North West of England. I have written a couple of novel-length stories before, and through my course I’m learning how to better my craft, including short stories, poetry, and scriptwriting.

Here you can find my book and film reviews, as well as thoughts on anything to do with the creative process of writing. Posts here will mostly be to do with my university course, where I can further explore some of my work and reflect on what I’ve learnt, however I will be using it alongside my more personal writing blog, Nocturne des Anges.

Aside from my love for reading and writing, I'm a collector of vintage photographs, antiquities, dolls, and anything that catches my magpie eye. I'm a lover of European and vintage films (especially French cinema), world literature, cemetery walks, Victorian and Edwardian history, Lolita fashion, and anything that can make me laugh.
I'm also very interested in illustration, photography, sewing, and embroidery, since I have a background in art and design.
